1. Creating a ChartIQ account on the portal

  1. Open the ChartIQ-Mobi portal sign-up page: https://portal.roko.mobi/Account/signup?partner=chiq

  2. Complete the form, and click Sign Up

  3. Enter the name of the app, platform, and click “Next Step”

  4. If “ChartIQ” appears in the onboarding page, your ChartIQ Mobi account is now set up correctly

2. Finding your ROKO Mobi API key

  1. Log into the ROKO Mobi portal

  2. Click 'Application Settings' in the top-right dropdown menu

3. Events Live Stream

The Events Live Stream is a debugging tool that can be used for troubleshooting communication and integration issues between your app (client-side) and Mobi's servers (server-side) in real-time.

  1. Log into the ROKO Mobi portal

  2. In the left-hand navigation bar, click Analytics --> Events Live Stream

4. Custom User Properties

Custom User Properties are additional metadata that can be attached to a specific user using your app. These custom properties can be used in the Mobi portal to create advanced user segments so you can better understand the behavior of your user base.

This mini-guide will show you how to define a custom user property in the Mobi portal so you can then set it programmatically in your app.

  1. Log into the ROKO Mobi portal

  2. In the left-hand navigation bar, click Users --> Settings, then click "Manage User Properties"

  3. This "Manage User Properties" page allows you create new user properties and also displays a list of previously created ones. Click "New Property"

  4. Now let's create two custom user properties to so you can segment your user base by "Premium Membership?" (eg: TRUE/FALSE) and "Assigned Account Manager" (eg: ceo@chartiq.com, intern@chart.com)

  5. Now you're ready to attach these custom properties to specific users in your app!
